Riyadh, February 03, 2022: The Advanced Electronics Company (AEC), a SAMI company, successfully concluded its participation in LEAP technology conference, from 1-3 February 2022, at Riyadh International Conventions & Exhibitions Center.

 

AEC showcased, during the world’s biggest technology event that attracted thousands of interested visitors, a complete range of solutions, systems, and products, including its flagship Data Diode, that helps protect sensitive networks and databases from hacking and breaches, along with other cybersecurity solutions, cloud computing systems, IoT, and digital health services. Also, the company presented its Security Operations Center (SOC), which supports I.T. professionals in securing their cybersecurity systems and ensures breach's immunity.

AEC and Aramco strengthen digital ecosystem

Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, December 30, 2021 – Advanced Electronics Company (“AEC”), a (SAMI) company, and Saudi Arabian Oil Company (“Aramco”) are collaborating to promote the localization of digital businesses in Saudi Arabia.

 

The two companies have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to accelerate the Kingdom’s digital ecosystem development in the presence of Eng. Walid AbuKhalid, Chairman, AEC and CEO, SAMI.

 

The partnership aims to support wider efforts to enable Internet of Things (IoT) technologies, computing and communication, robotics, drones, and semiconductors that complement the expansion of the digital ecosystem at large in the Kingdom.

 

Aramco has included the Industrial Digital Business (IDB) under the industrial investment program, Aramco Namaat, which aims to complement the establishment of various digital hubs in Saudi Arabia.

 

The program aims to maximize local content, contribute to GDP growth, create new jobs, accelerate digital talent development, and enhance Aramco’s reliability and operational efficiency. 

 

Ahmad Al Sa’adi, Aramco SVP Technical Services, said: “This partnership aims to help us to develop local talent as we work with leading technology providers to add value to the company and wider economy.”

25,000 functional therapy and 62,000 natural therapy sessions for children

 

RIYADH, December 8, 2021 – Advanced Electronics Company (AEC,) a Saudi Arabian Military Industries (SAMI) company, signed an agreement of cooperation with the Disabled Children's Association (DCA.)

 

The agreement comes as an of AEC's commitment to corporate social responsibility and support for the community's development. 

 

AEC's support of the "Mubadarati" program in 2021 helped more than 3,000 kids get access to rehabilitation services, and more than 1,000 children get psychological help. AEC and DCA had signed a similar agreement in 2020 as part of "Mubadarati" to enhance community services for children. The company had emphasized its commitment to providing the children with the best possible specialty services and world-class treatment and recovery.

 

The association's medical department is a vital component of the comprehensive rehabilitation program for children. The department has held more than 25,000 functional therapy sessions, as well as more than 62,000 natural therapy and more than 8,000 speech sessions.

 

"We are proud of the program's success," said Eng. Ziad Al-Musallam, Chief Executive Officer of AEC. "The company has been working with the association for 20 years and will continue to work with them in line with our CSR program, offering what they need to achieve the objectives of both sides." “Mubadarati” is an innovative DCA initiative that aims at greater involvement from individuals and organizations. The program provides therapeutic, educational, and rehabilitative services to more than 4,000 children across 11 centers nationwide.

November 18, 2021: Advanced Electronics Company (AEC), a Saudi Arabian Military Industries (SAMI) company, concluded its participation in the 17th version of the Dubai Airshow, which was held during the period 14-18 November in Dubai, UAE. The exhibition was a convenient platform for AEC to showcase its advanced solutions and technologies, as well as its engineering and manufacturing capabilities, as part of its defense and aerospace business sector.

 

Commenting on AEC’s participation in the event, Eng. Walid Abukhaled, CEO of SAMI and Chairman of AEC, said: “The presence of SAMI at Dubai Airshow through AEC, a pioneer in defense electronics, technology and manufacturing industries, offered us an opportunity to communicate with our regional and global partners in the aviation and space sector, and an opportunity to introduce to them our advanced air systems solutions and technologies. AEC signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Pinnacle Solutions, the leading American company in the innovation, development and manufacturing of defense and aerospace products and services, to cooperate in upgrading the Apache helicopters from version two to version six, along with training services and provision of support in the aviation sector, in line with the goals of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 that are related to the localization of capabilities and programs, in order to achieve independence of the Saudi military industries sector.

 

The pavilion of the Advanced Electronics Company (AEC), and the Saudi Military Industries Company (SAMI) in the exhibition was visited by a number of senior officials from government and private authorities and from the defense sector, including H.E. Eng. Ahmed Al-Ohali, Governor of the General Authority of Military Industries, H.E. Lieutenant-General Fayyad Al-Ruwaili, Chairman of the General Authority of Military Industries and Chief of Staff, H.E. Mr. Abdul Aziz Al-Duailej, President of the General Civil Aviation Authority, H.E. Eng. Ibrahim Al Omar, Director General of the Saudi Arabian Airlines Corporation, and His Excellency Lieutenant-General Dhahi Khalfan Al Tamim, Deputy Chief of Police and Public Security in Dubai.

 

During its participation in Dubai Airshow, AEC displayed AEC its portfolio, including Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) services, Command, Control, Communications, Computers, and Intelligence (C4I), operations centre, electronic warfare (EW) products and solutions, drones, and simulation systems, among others. Whereas, the Saudi Military Industries Company (SAMI) displayed a number of advanced technologies and systems as part of its aerospace and defense electronics units, and the pavilion also included exhibits from SAMI’s subsidiaries, the Aircraft Accessories & Components Company (AACC) and SAMI Composites company.
