Advanced Electronics Company Welcomes Qualcomm’s Company Executive Team

As part of the strategic partnership between the Advanced Electronics Company and Qualcomm, a leading American company in the fields of designing and marketing telecommunications products and services, AEC  received at its headquarters this afternoon Qualcomm’s global executive team in a delegation that included Yasser Al-Saied Head of Global IOT Platforms and Ecosystems; Harry Garlapati, Business leader for Smart Metering and Tracking Technologies.

AEC welcomed its guests in a visit to get acquainted and explore the services, solutions and capabilities provided by both companies, and to explore ways of cooperation in the fields of IoT, Smart Meters, and 5G technology.

As part of the visit program the delegation toured AEC’s factory and the joint team discussed future means of cooperation and enhancing communication between the two companies, which will contribute to developing Saudi competencies and enhance the presence of AEC in the local market as one of the most important enablers for digital transformation and one of the largest incubators for training Saudi talents.

Riyadh, January 21, 2020: During the Riyadh Economic Forum events, which was launched under the gracious patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud, may Allah protect him, the Prince of Riyadh, HRH Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdul Aziz, may Allah preserve him, honoured the Advanced Electronics Company as the platinum sponsor of the forum, recognizing its pioneering efforts in accelerating the Kingdom's economic growth and attracting and qualifying the Saudi talents, in line with the objectives of the Vision 2030.

 

AEC's participation in the 3-day significant forum held at Hilton Hotel in Riyadh is a real indication of the immense roles deployed by the private sector companies in Saudi Arabia to help support the Kingdom's march towards achieving the sustainable economic development goals. More than 2,500 participants and 70 exhibitors from the Kingdom and abroad took part in the conference to promote their products, services, ideas, and businesses.

 

AEC participated at the conference due to its role as an energy manufacturing leader that offers innovative and integrated smart energy solutions. The conference, which is one of the leading events in the region, helps promote the company’s presence in the network of smart grids.
