The last day of the Dubai Airshow continues to witness key visits by eminent personalities to the Advanced Electronics Company’s booth to explore its capabilities in the military industries sector and to learn about AEC’s latest solutions in this sector.

His Excellency Staff Lt. General Hamad M. Thani Al Rumaithi, Chief of Staff of the United Arab Emirates Armed Forces, and His Excellency Matar Al Dhahri, Undersecretary of the United Arab Emirates Ministry of Defence, took a tour of the Company's booth and were briefed on its advanced portfolio of Avionics, Electronics, C5ISR, and Electronic Warfare products and services.

For the third day in a row at the Dubai Airshow, economic and government figures continue to visit the booth of the Advanced Electronics Company to learn about its latest capabilities and solutions in the military industries sector.

His Excellency Eng. Kamal bin Ahmed Mohammed, Minister of Transport and Communications in the Kingdom of Bahrain, and Dr. Andreas Schwer, Chief Executive Officer of the Saudi Arabian Military Industries Company (SAMI), took a tour of the Company's booth and were briefed on its advanced portfolio of Avionics, Electronics, C5ISR, and Electronic Warfare products and services.

His Excellency Abdulhadi Ahmed Almansouri, President of the General Authority of Civil Aviation, and Staff Major General Ahmed Ali Humaid Al-Ali, Assistant Secretary General for Military Affairs, and Khalid Al-Jaouini, General Manager for Public Projects, Ministry of Defense visited AEC’s booth today at the Dubai Airshow. In addition to Major General Engineer Attiyah bin Jdeih Al Attiyah of the General Department of spare parts, maintenance and repair at the Saudi Ministry of Defense, and a number of high-profile dignitaries and industry experts.

Visitors were introduced to AEC’s latest technologies on display at Dubai Airshow including its flagship C5ISR systems and solutions, such as Cyber Security, Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), Data Diode, Air Observation Systems (AOS) among others.

During the Dubai Airshow, AEC welcomed a number of senior officials and industry leaders to its stand, including HRH Major General Turki bin Bandar Al Saud, Royal Saudi Air Forces commander, HRH Prince Sultan bin Salman Al Saud, Chairman of the Saudi Space Agency, and His Excellency Eng. Ahmed bin Abdulaziz Al Ohali , Governor of the General Authority for Military Industries (GAMI) where they were introduced to AEC’s world-class portfolio of Avionics, Electronics, C5ISR, and Electronic Warfare products and services.

Such visits underlines AEC’s commitment to advancing Saudi Arabia’s indigenous military industries sector and enables the company’s contribution to localize 50 percent of the Kingdom’s military and security spending as envisaged in the Saudi Vision 2030.

Underlining its commitment to advancing Saudi Arabia’s indigenous military industries sector, Advanced Electronics Company (AEC), a Saudi Arabian Military Industries (SAMI) company, today announced that it will participate in the 2019 edition of Dubai Airshow set to take place from 17 – 21 November at Dubai World Central.

As part of its participation in the biggest aerospace event in the Middle East, Asia, and Africa, AEC will showcase its world-class portfolio of Avionics, Electronics, C5ISR, and Electronic Warfare products and services.

In keeping with its commitment to playing a key role in the localization of 50 percent of the Kingdom’s military and security spending as envisaged in the Saudi Vision 2030, the company will also explore new industry partnership opportunities during the five-day aviation trade show to facilitate the transfer of knowledge and technology to build innovative solutions within the Kingdom.

AEC’s wide-ranging offerings on show under the Electronic Warfare category will include Anti-Drone System and Electronic Intelligence (ELINT). The company will also highlight its Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) and Manufacturing (MFG) capabilities.

The Saudi Military Industries Company (SAMI) and the Advanced Electronics Company (AEC) have obtained the first licenses for the practice of military manufacturing, issued by the General Authority for Military Industries.

For his part, Sami CEO Dr. Andreas Scheuer said during a press conference in Riyadh that the efforts and support of the General Authority for Military Industries local companies contribute to the "advancement of this strategic industry," stressing the commitment of both companies to support the strategy and programs of the Authority.

For his part, AEC CEO Abdul Aziz Al-Duailij said that the program of licensing the activities of military industries by the authority "represents the first steps to regulate the military sector in the Kingdom," where the organization contributes to the localization of 50% of the Kingdom's spending in the industrial sector. It helps to open the door for investment to local and foreign investors, which "represents a significant support for one of the important strategic sectors, and pushes them forward."

The Saudi Military Industries Company (SAMI) has achieved many successes, including the recent acquisition of Advanced Electronics Company (AEC), which will form the main structure of the company's defense electronics unit.
