King Fahad University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM) which own Dhahran Techno Valley Company have signed a technical cooperation agreement with Advanced Electronics Company (AEC) in the area of research and development. Under this agreement KFUPM , Techno Valley Company and AEC will be team up as technical partners to provide ICT and security systems and solutions in Kingdom and in the region. The agreement was signed by H.E. Dr. Khalid Al-Sultan, KFUPM’s Rector and Mr. Abdulaziz Al-Duailej, AEC’s President & CEO. On the occasion of signing the agreement Mr. Abdulaziz Al-Duailej, AEC’s CEO stated “AEC is honored to sign this technical cooperation agreement with KFUPM. This is a major step since most of Saudi universities mission are diversify to providing advance research beyond the academics and that can be applied to smart investment projects matching top leading international research centers. Mr. Al-Duailej added “we are keen to cooperate with KFUPM one of the leading university in the world. This agreement reflects the ideal cooperation between universities and the private sector.
