Alarming global statistics on workplace incidents highlight the need for innovations like Raqeeb. According to the International Labor Organization, workplace incidents claim an estimated 2.78 million lives annually. With more than 7,500 fatal injuries and one million non-fatal injuries daily, the urgency for enhanced safety measures is evident. Raqeeb combines state-of-the-art Internet of Things (IoT) technology with artificial intelligence to provide safety coverage for workers in high-risk environments.

The Best Graduation Project award, sponsored by SAMI-AEC, honors outstanding students from KSU's Colleges of Computer and Information Sciences, Engineering, and Electrical Engineering. The recognition is bestowed in three categories: Scientific Advancement Award (Best Graduation Project) , Excellence Award (Top Student) , Creativity Award (Best Idea). These awards celebrate student projects that offer practical solutions or technical innovations with the potential to benefit the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and society at large.

Riyadh, May 27, 2024: SAMI Advanced Electronics Company (SAMI-AEC), a wholly owned subsidiary of SAMI, the Kingdom's foremost defense and digital solutions provider, signed a cooperation agreement with the National Unified Purchasing Company (NUPCO), a PIF company, on May 27, 2024.

 

 

The agreement aims to provide solutions for medication tracking, IT infrastructure, and increase local content through medical device manufacturing and maintenance.
