Heads-Up Display

 

Overview

The head-up display in aircrafts is a tech tool that helps pilots in gathering navigation insights in the form of a digital transparent image within the viewpoint of the pilot. Head-up displays offer-increased safety, as the pilots are not required to look away from their line of sight or viewpoint. A symbolic or alphanumeric display produces information about navigation, attacks, aircraft steering, and external situations.

 

Technical Specifications
  • Depot Level Maintenance at SAMI-AEC: Upgrading, Overhauling, and rebuilding of parts and assemblies, and testing/reclamation of equipment.
  • Line Replacement Unit (LRU): HUD is a modular aircraft component that can be swiftly replaced at operational location.
  • RCIP completed 2018: Pairing of controller nodes of two storage systems to effectuate better communication.
