Our Materials Department at AEC is wholly responsible for delivering all logistic services required by different businesses. Its core activities include planning, analysing, integrating, procuring and controlling the supply of all the materials and services to sustain our operations at a required level efficiently and effectively.
These are some of the aspects we deal with in Logistics operations:
Material Control deals with the eminent part of supply chain, service and repair requirements to satisfy AEC business. Material Control’s objective is to grow in a manner such that our customers recognise us as the highest value added logistics services in the region. It comprises of front-end (planning) and back-end (operations) activities.

Material planning helps us provides cost-effective and scalable solutions that ensure the availability of the right material at the right time at the right quantity and at the right quality,thereby meeting the production schedule. Its core activities are:
Forecast/Analyse material requirements and recommend attrition stock level based on provided information by Project Management
Plan and determine the material requirement, initiate the ordering process and coordinate with respective functions to ensure on time material availability according to business needs
Establish & maintain acceptable inventory level for each project
Planning group interacts with several AEC departments i.e. Business Units, Manufacturing, Configuration, Quality, Procurement and Finance to meet production schedule and on-time shipment delivery to AEC valued customers
